How much does an online booking system cost in Malaysia?

In Malaysia, a focused online booking system starts from RM2,500 fixed price: a booking flow on your website and WhatsApp, calendar sync, automated reminders, and optional deposit collection through a Malaysian payment gateway. You own it outright, so unlike OTA platforms there is no commission on every booking. Monthly running cost is effectively just hosting, which is near-free at SME traffic.

What RM2,500 buys

A booking flow built into your website and reachable from WhatsApp, synced to your real calendar so double-bookings cannot happen, with automatic confirmations and reminders sent for you. Deposit collection is optional but recommended. Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before work starts.

Taking deposits and payments

Deposits run through a Malaysian payment gateway, so customers pay by the methods they already use. Even a small deposit changes behaviour: a customer with money down shows up. The gateway account is in your name, and the money goes to you, not through me.

How it cuts no-shows

Reminders go out automatically before the appointment, and a deposit gives the customer a reason to keep it. As a working estimate, businesses that use reminders well typically see no-shows drop by 30 to 50 percent. That is an industry estimate, not a promised client result, and it depends on the reminders actually being used.

When you do not need one yet

If you take a handful of bookings a week and your diary has empty days, a shared calendar and a fast reply habit will carry you. A booking system pays for itself when slots are scarce, no-shows cost real money, or bookings arrive after hours while you are asleep.
